School Lunches
Each day at Roman Way Academy we offer a healthy hot school lunch to children from Reception age and upwards. There is always a non-vegetarian and a vegetarian option to choose from.
School lunches for children in Reception to the end of Year 2 are available free of charge as part the Universal Free School Meals scheme, applicable to all children in these year groups.
There is a cost of £2.60 per meal for children in Year 3 and Year 4, unless your child is in receipt of free school meals. If you think your child may be eligible, please visit www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/freeschoolmeals.
All allergies are catered for. If your child requires the allergen menu, please complete the allergen form and return to the school office. We have attached our allergen menu for your reference.
Packed Lunches
If you provide a packed lunch for your child, we would ask you to ensure that it contains no nuts or products that contain nuts such as peanut butter, Nutella etc. and that it is as healthy and balanced as possible. Please see the leaflet below for guidance on providing a healthy packed lunch.
